SUMMARY
Installs, inspects, repairs, and maintains food service, refrigeration, and support equipment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS- Four (4) years experience in food service cooking and/or low temperature refrigeration equipment repair and maintenance, to include electrical, gas and plumbing installation and repair procedures
- Completion of a recognized trade training program in a related field or equivalent
- Knowledge of applicable County, State, Federal electrical, safety, plumbing, and mechanical codes required.

CFR Part 82, Subpart F Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification Type I or Type II - Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions
- Any equivalent combination of experience, training or education
- FBI fingerprint background check (at employee’s expense) or submission of valid Fingerprint card.
- Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization
- Post‑offer/pre‑employment physical examination and 75 lb lift test
- AZ Department of Transportation (ADOT) medical certificate
- Valid Arizona Driver’s license
MVReport – showing no more than the allowable points against Driver’s License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB‑R‑1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services – Transportation by Employees

Work Calendar: 12 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
