Solar System Installation Technician

Job Description

Solar Gain is seeking experienced Solar System Installation Technician to join our Residential Services Team for projects throughout Arizona. In this role, you will work with a crew to layout and assemble solar Photo Voltaic (PV) and electrical wiring equipment on rooftops and carports. Each completed project involves a crew working cohesively together to complete the following tasks:
Layout and mount hardware on various roof types;
Secure and wire modules and assemble all racking and solar arrays;
Seal roof penetrations, then the set up of the monitoring system;
Gather data and complete documentation, and Clean the job site. Our installers are vital members of a greater team that includes a Lead Installer, Driver, electrician, and Foreman to present a professional product and service to our customers. Requirements

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or GED is required. An associate degree or higher is preferred. Professional appearance A clean driving record with a valid driver's license is required for driving to various work site locations. Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and wiring. Ability to build and plumb solar panel arrays. Proficiency in fixture installation and solar panel mounting. Understand high voltage systems and compliance with NEC regulations.

Benefits Our compensation and benefits package includes: $23-27 per hour, depending on experience Health/dental/vision insurance - low cost, or no cost to you, depending on the plan(s) selected. 10 days of PTO in the first year, 15 days starting in year two. 8 Paid Holidays 401k and profit sharing
