Basic Qualifications:
Must be a US Citizen.
High school diploma or GED.
Must pass Client required background clearance.
Valid Driver's License—Driving is required for this position.
Overtime/Weekend work will be required occasionally.
Industrial/Commercial HVAC experience with refrigeration and control systems.
Must have good electrical troubleshooting skills.
Adequate computer proficiency to operate job-related applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of HVAC vocational training or 5 years of facilities maintenance experience.
Universally EPA certified.
Knowledge of using Laptop, and building automated system software.
Ability to read blueprints: mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
Ability to maintain and install sheaves (pulleys), belts and bearings on AHU's
Knowledge of working on AHU motors up to 100 hp.
Ability to troubleshoot up to 480 Volts.
Responsibilities:
Services and repairs environmental control systems in office buildings and other commercial/industrial settings.
Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting components.
Strong computer skills required for troubleshooting and correcting digital control software.
Joins tubing or pipes to various refrigerating units with Pro-press, unions, solder, and brazing.
Observes pressure and vacuum, gauges, and adjusts controls to ensure proper operation.
Troubleshoot joints and connects for leaks, using gauges or soap and water solution.
Ability to do minor insulation repairs.
Troubleshoot electrical components, fuses, contractors, controls, etc.
May service and repair air conditioners up to 200 tons of cooling capacity in buildings.
Troubleshoot vav controls.
Performs other duties as assigned such as electrical, plumbing, or general maintenance.
