Technician/Installer – Tucson, AZ
This individual will be responsible for installation of commercial electronic security systems such as access control systems, CCTV/video monitoring, intrusion alarm systems, systems, intercoms/emergency phones, and parking control/turnstiles from start to finish. The role also includes interacting with customers, vendors, and other service providers to troubleshoot potential issues and discuss technological trends.
Job Responsibilities- Installation of Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, Intercom, Emergency Phone, and Parking Revenue Systems
- Interact with Customers, Vendors, and other Contractors on-site to coordinate successful installations
- Drive to the jobsites per manager instruction, assess installation or repair needs and complete repair to customer satisfaction
- Consistently seek and promote business opportunities for service, sales, and preventative maintenance contracts; acquire knowledge of all products
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure the job site is cleaned and free of debris after work
- Complete job tickets and timesheets in a timely manner; ensure all tickets are processed and timesheets reach payroll before cut-off
- Collect cash on delivery when applicable; notify management if there are collection issues or scope changes
- Maintain truck inventory and possess knowledge of parts, part numbers and descriptions
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM with willingness to work overtime, weekends, or emergency on-call rotations. Start and end times may vary based on business needs, including potential shifts starting as early as 5:00 AM.
Job Requirements- 2–4 years of experience installing electronic security systems for commercial facilities (preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Electro/mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of relay logic
- Basic networking skills
