The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Tucson, AZ, responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of the property. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and repairing common apartment and building issues such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general building systems. The role involves performing routine inspections, executing preventive maintenance, responding promptly to service requests, and ensuring work is completed according to company standards and safety guidelines.
The Maintenance Technician collaborates with property management and other team members, supports unit turns and renovations, and maintains accurate records of work orders, parts, and equipment usage.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for residential and/or commercial properties.
- Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Industrial Maintenance to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and building system issues.
- Candidates should possess experience performing Preventive Maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment and system lifespan.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair, with the ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to prioritize and complete multiple work orders efficiently.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with residents and team members.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work on-site, lift moderate weights, climb ladders, and perform tasks that may require standing or walking for extended periods.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, EPA, maintenance-related trades) and prior apartment or property maintenance experience are beneficial.
