Install Technician

We are seeking a skilled Install Technician to support the installation of electrical and low-voltage systems in commercial and industrial environments. This role requires strong hands-on experience with conduit bending, cable installation, and device trim work. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working efficiently on active job sites while following safety standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and bend EMT conduit (up to 1"), ensuring precise measurements and clean, professional results.
  • Utilize personal ¾" and 1" conduit benders to meet project specifications and layout requirements.
  • Pull, route, and organize electrical and low-voltage cabling in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Perform device trim work, including installing and terminating fixtures, devices, and related components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation drawings to complete work accurately.
  • Safely operate hand tools and power tools for installation tasks.
  • Travel to job sites as needed while maintaining valid vehicle insurance.
  • Follow all safety protocols, site regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly store tools and materials.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience bending EMT conduit up to 1".
  • Hands-on experience pulling cable in commercial or industrial environments.
  • Experience performing device trim work for electrical or low-voltage systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Ownership of required personal hand tools.
  • Ownership of ¾" and 1" conduit benders.
  • Valid DPS Fingerprint Card (required prior to start).
  • Current vehicle insurance for job site access.
  • Strong working knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • Experience installing electrical and low-voltage systems in field environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on commercial and industrial construction projects.
  • Familiarity with low-voltage system installation practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation to multiple job sites within the Tucson area.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oro Valley, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
