The Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Tucson, AZ, responsible for performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on motorcycles and related vehicles. Day-to-day tasks include conducting routine services, inspecting vehicles for safety and performance issues, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems, and completing repair work according to manufacturer specifications. The role involves documenting all work performed, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and following shop safety procedures.
The Service Technician also interacts with customers to explain findings, discuss recommended services, and provide an excellent service experience. Collaboration with service advisors, parts staff, and other technicians is essential to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of jobs.
- Candidates should possess strong Maintenance & Repair and general Maintenance skills for motorcycles or comparable vehicles.
- Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic issues.
- Candidates should possess Field Service experience or hands-on shop experience working directly on customer vehicles.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, including clear communication and a professional, customer-focused approach.
- Relevant technical training or certification in motorcycle, automotive, or powersports technology is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals, technical bulletins, and manufacturer specifications.
- Comfort using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and shop equipment, with a commitment to safety practices.
- Reliable work habits, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
