Service Manager; HVAC

Location: Tucson, AZ

Compensation: Up to $85,000

FTE: Direct Hire with our client

Our client is seeking a hands‑on Service Manager to oversee maintenance operations across a portfolio of commercial and government facilities. This role is responsible for leading a team of technicians while also working in the field to support HVAC, mechanical, and building system maintenance.

• Manage daily maintenance operations and service activities across multiple facilities
• Supervise and support maintenance and HVAC technicians
• Assist with troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance
• Ensure work orders are completed accurately and on time
• Conduct quality inspections and maintain maintenance documentation
• Coordinate schedules, materials, subcontractors, and workforce needs
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders regarding maintenance activities and priorities
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with operational requirements

• Experience leading maintenance, facilities, or HVAC teams
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, and building systems
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs and work order systems
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work in both a supervisory and hands‑on field role

• HVAC certification (EPA 608, NATE, Journeyman, or similar)
• Experience supporting large facility portfolios
• Experience with CMMS/work order management systems such as Maximo
• Experience in government, municipal, healthcare, education, industrial, or commercial facilities environments
