Determines routing of pipe, sequence of work operations, and location of plumbing fixtures, accessories and equipment by following blueprints and standards;
Installs, connects, and tests sanitary plumbing fixtures such as urinals, sinks, water closets, and drinking fountains; handles compressed air, steam, irrigation systems;
Troubleshoots and repairs major plumbing breakdowns by replacing or correcting issues in main sewer lines, gas lines, and systems within production and facility equipment;
Orders parts and materials from plant stores or vendors; uses online systems or purchase requisitions;
Performs preventive maintenance and incidental duties as needed; may use oxyacetylene for work without welding or cutting
