Position Summary

The Reconstruction Technician performs residential and commercial repairs following property damage. This role requires experience in multiple construction trades, attention to detail, and the ability to complete quality work independently while providing excellent customer service.

  • Hang, patch, finish, and texture drywall.
  • Perform interior and exterior painting.
  • Install and repair trim, baseboards, doors, cabinets, and flooring.
  • Complete minor framing, siding, and basic plumbing fixture installations.
  • Perform punch-list items and maintain clean, organized job sites.
  • Follow company safety policies and provide professional customer service.
Qualifications
  • Experience in construction, remodeling, or insurance restoration.
  • Ability to complete quality work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with drywall finishing, carpentry, flooring, or cabinet installation is preferred.
  • Valid Arizona driver's license with an insurable driving record.
  • Reliable attendance and transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds; occasionally more with assistance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and work overhead for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely perform physically demanding construction tasks throughout the workday.

This position primarily works in occupied residential and commercial properties performing repairs following water, fire, mold, storm, or other property damage. The work environment includes exposure to construction materials, dust, noise, and varying temperatures. Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

Opportunities are available for increased pay and advancement into lead technician and field-supervision positions based on performance, workmanship, reliability and productivity.
