Facilities Construction​/Trades Worker

Summary Performs master level abilities in one or more trades, such as plumbing, painting and roofing. Uses respective trade proficiency for renovation and remodeling projects throughout hospital property.

• Knowledge of building trades, procedures, regulations, and codes as it pertains to plumbing, electrical, structural, cabling and roofing repairs.
• Skill in the operation of tools and applying building trade knowledge in a variety of skilled trades for facility construction.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to log activities and complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to listen and accurately interpret others' communication or instructions to take appropriate action.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to calculate figures and compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply basic algebraic concepts.
