Chiller Technician - $45-$55 / Hour - Tucson, AZ Keep Critical Facilities Running

Some technicians work on rooftop units.

Others keep hospitals, universities, laboratories, and large commercial facilities operating every day.

We're looking for an experienced Chiller Technician who can troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and optimize large-tonnage HVAC systems in complex commercial environments.

What You'll Do
  • Diagnose and repair commercial and industrial chiller systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and controls issues
  • Support equipment startup and commissioning
  • Maintain chilled water systems, cooling towers, pumps, and related equipment
  • Complete service documentation and communicate findings to customers
  • Respond to critical equipment failures and emergency service calls
What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of commercial HVAC and chiller experience
  • Extensive experience with centrifugal, screw, air‑cooled, and water‑cooled chillers
  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving refrigeration, electrical, and controls systems
  • Experience working in healthcare, higher education, commercial, or industrial facilities
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred Experience
  • Trane, Carrier, York, Daikin, Mitsubishi, or Smardt equipment
  • Building Automation Systems (BAS)
  • Central utility plants and mission-critical facilities
  • Factory training or manufacturer certifications
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
