Mechanical Service Technician

Raytheon - 1151 East Hermans Road - Responsibilities:
Perform fabrication, assembly, installation, diagnosis, repair and modification on hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, vacuum, and gas systems for test equipment;
Conduct functional and operational tests on units;
Collaborate with engineers to plan and modify test positions and equipment for practicality;
Provide sketches/diagrams to aid mechanical modifications;
Document test results and recommend maintenance refinements;
Perform preventive maintenance as directed;
Execute brazing, soldering, and minor sheet metal work;
Operate hand tools and machine tools (lathes, mills, drills, grinders, saws) as required;
Work from blueprints and design drawings, interpreting instructions to determine best fabrication methods;
Maintain shop floor control system records and order materials as needed;
Rework, refurbish, and modify parts and equipment as required
