Our technicians must be able to safely operate all machines and work in a safe manner. We require our technicians to conduct themselves in the presence of customers in a manner that promotes a positive image of the company.
Essential Duties of a heavy equipment Field Service Technician:
Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
Diagnose problems and determine what repairs are needed.
Continuously develop skills in disassembly, assembly and repair of components and machines.
Perform all service tasks as assigned by the Service Manager or Service Writer/Shop Foreman.
Prepare all reports and forms required in conjunction with job assignments.
Prepare legible, accurate and detailed records of work as it is performed.
Document unusual or excessive time requirements for unforeseen problems.
Report any additional work recommended and/or required on equipment to the Service Manager for notification to customer or sales department.
Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion.
Maintain and care for all shop tools, machines and equipment, company assigned vehicle and report any additional special tools needed to Service Manager.
Accountable for completing/performing all work as stated.
Always conduct self to present a professional image of the dealership.
Promote dealership growth thru suggestive selling of parts and service.
Accountability of all time and materials used in job assigned.
Proactively works with other employees and departments to give the customer a positive experience in ways that promote respect and teamwork.

Minimum CDL B preferred
Must be willing and able to travel 50%-100% of the time.
Work Environment Monday–Friday, 7:00AM- 4:00 PM (shift is as needed, with overtime, possible weekends as needed)
Outdoor Environment and potential exposure to industrial environments
The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud
Physical Requirements:
Bending, reaching, twisting, pulling, kneeling and lifting are continuous essential functions of the jobWill lift from 1-75 pounds from floor to five feet level and team lift heavier items
Normal physical agility is a must Requires the use of both hands
