Job Summary

The Sewer Service Technician possesses a strong background in sewer and drain system maintenance and repair, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and is committed to delivering outstanding customer service. The Sewer Service Technician, is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining sewer systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Sewer and Drain System Inspection:
    Conduct thorough inspections of sewer and drain systems to identify issues, blockages, leaks, or damage.
  • Repair and Maintenance:
    Perform repairs, replacements, and routine maintenance tasks on sewer and drain lines, pipes, and associated equipment.
  • Unclogging and Clearing:
    Utilize specialized tools and equipment to clear blockages and obstructions from sewer and drain lines.
  • Diagnosis:
    Accurately diagnose sewer and drain system problems and provide recommendations for repair or replacement as needed.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and services provided.
  • Customer Interaction:
    Interact professionally with customers, explaining the diagnosis and recommended solutions clearly and answering their questions.
  • Safety:
    Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on sewer and drain systems to ensure the safety of yourself, colleagues, and clients.
  • Equipment Maintenance:
    Properly maintain and care for all tools, equipment, and vehicles used in the course of your work.
  • Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to sewer systems and plumbing.
  • Emergency Response:
    Be available for on-call and emergency services, which may include evenings and weekends on a rotational basis.
