What You'll DoAs a Mechanical Foreman, you'll provide hands-on leadership while managing daily field operations and ensuring successful project execution.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating commercial mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing work on assigned projects.
- Working closely with the Project Superintendent and other trades to ensure schedules, manpower, and materials are effectively managed.
- Supervising field crews while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards.
- Mentoring, coaching, and developing team members to maximize performance.
- Ensuring all work complies with project specifications, local codes, and company safety policies.
- Utilizing company-provided technology, including tablets and smartphones, to manage project documentation, communication, and scheduling.
- Identifying and resolving field issues to keep projects on schedule and exceed customer expectations.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- 5+ years of experience leading commercial mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing projects.
- Proven experience managing scopes of work on large-scale commercial construction projects.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop field personnel.
- Working knowledge of IECC, ICC, ASHRAE standards, local building codes, and construction safety requirements.
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
- Active Journeyman or Master Mechanical/HVAC License preferred.
- Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, and basic computer software for project management and reporting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Organized, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional workmanship.
