This is a role for an experienced Technician, covering the full range of diagnostic and repair work, with Ford certification and 2+ years of technician experience as the baseline. - Complete all repair work listed on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
- Identify and repair issues across engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning systems
- Operate diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment to test vehicle components and systems
- Road-test vehicles before and after service to verify repair quality and confirm proper operation
- Communicate additional service needs and accurate time estimates to the Service Advisor so customers stay informed
- Handle warranty repairs in full compliance with Ford manufacturer specifications and documentation requirements
- Ford certification required
- 2+ years of service technician experience preferred
- B-level qualifications including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
- Previous Ford dealership experience preferred
- Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity required for precision repair work
- Basic computer competency and ability to learn new repair procedures and specifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
