The Social Worker assists a Licensed Clinical or other Social Worker with their daily tasks to include providing material supportive services to students and their families in order to achieve maximum functioning and promote student achievement. As needed other duties may include but not limited to student assessments, maintenance of student case files, participation in multidisciplinary or IEP team meetings and weekly supervisory sessions.
Serves as an integral part of a problem-solving team at the building level
- Bachelor's
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited school of Social Work
- Ability to support a variety of students behavioral needs
- Reliable mode of transportation
- Ability to work well with a team and multitask
- Ability to manage time and problem-solve
- Availability to work flexible hours, as needed
- Master's
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school of social work
- Dependable mode of transportation
- Availability to work flexible hours as needed
- Current License as Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school of social work
- Dependable mode of transportation
- Availability to work flexible hours as needed
- Previous experience in a school setting and typically assigned to a district region.
- Experience working with diverse or underprivileged populations.
- Master’s degree in Social Work
