Job Summary
Devereux Arizona’s Community Based Services provide rapid, intensive, in‑home support after a crisis. The Family (Crisis) Support Coordinator works one‑to‑one with youth aged 2‑17 in homes, schools, group homes, foster care or kinship placements, teaching life and emotional regulation skills and supporting behavioral change. The role requires working with the Child/Family Team, participating in intakes, performing case management, and maintaining accurate chart documentation.
Mileage reimbursement, phone, laptop and a flexible schedule are provided.
Pay Range: $21 – $23.10 per hour
Full Time
Schedule:
Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday; afternoons/night shifts until 8:30 pm
Commute: Ability to drive throughout Pima County; mileage reimbursement.
- Work one‑to‑one with youth aged 2‑17 in homes, schools, group homes, foster care or kinship placements.
- Teach life and emotional regulation skills, behavior reduction, anger management, trauma‑related coping, and communication techniques to help youth succeed at home, school and in community.
- Collaborate with the Child/Family Team, participate in intakes, perform case management, and maintain accurate chart documentation.
- At least 21 years old.
- Minimum high‑school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least four full‑time years of behavioral health work experience, or a combination of relevant education and at least two years of full‑time experience, or an associate’s degree with at least two years of full‑time experience, or a bachelor’s degree with at least one year of full‑time experience.
- Ability to commute throughout Pima County; own vehicle with mileage reimbursement.
- Full‑time new‑hire orientation (paid, Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑5 pm).
- Valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean DMV history for 36 months.
- Drug test within 24 hrs of offer with negative results.
- Pre‑employment physical and job‑demand assessment.
- Current AZ fingerprint clearance card with no restrictions, or eligibility to obtain one.
