Description

Devereux Arizona’s Therapeutic Foster Care Program serves children and adults with significant behavioral and emotional needs. Individuals are referred to Devereux via Arizona behavioral health networks, and several tribal entities. Therapeutic Foster parents are extensively trained to address each individual's intense needs and work with them toward their treatment goals.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00/hr. based on related work experience and education

Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Work from Home and requires local travel to individuals homes

Ability to commute throughout Pima County utilizing your own vehicle (with mileage reimbursement)

Reporting to the Foster Care Coordinator,
Therapeutic Home Specialists (Adult care) supervise and support therapeutic home providers in maintaining and delivering high quality behavioral health services to TFC individuals who have a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Therapeutic Home Specialists typically have a caseload of 10 individuals placed across 5-7 licensed therapeutic foster homes. Each foster home receives a home visit at least once every two weeks with homes spread out across the county.

This position participates as an active member of the treatment team by: conducting assessments, facilitating service/treatment plan development, review and implementation, developing, supporting, and monitoring behavioral interventions, and performing crisis intervention/stabilization through consultation, support, and coordinating services.

• High School Diploma or GED required;
  Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred

• Four (4) years’ related experience OR one (1) year experience with a Bachelor’s degree

• Must be 21 years of age or older (per licensing standards)

• Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 36-month history check

• Drug test within 24hrs of offer with negative results

• Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)

• Must attend one (1) week of New Hire Orientation (paid) Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

• Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions).
