• Oversee the expanded development of an existing C++, Python, and Next.js React program with new features, bug fixes, and capabilities.
• Oversee the development of an existing portfolio of programs at multiple security domains, deconflicting software modifications within those domains, and reconciling changes back to a master repository.
• Integrate an existing program onto multiple different software/hardware platforms and ensure code bases do not become fractured or interfering. Manage and track multiple releases with different feature sets across these platforms.
• Architect, design, develop, and deploy high‑quality and secure code.

• Research, design, and develop computer software systems, in conjunction with hardware product development.
• Oversee all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and test of software products.
• Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts and principles in the development of software for the target application.
• Work closely with cross‑functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system.
• Develop software test procedures, software programs, and related documentation.
• Communicate within and outside of the organization to explain and influence changes to practices, processes and approaches.
• Make significant improvements in processes, systems, or products.
• Provide input into new products/processes and implement operational plans that have measurable impact on business or functional results.

• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance (US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED)
• Knowledge of software design principles including industry best practices and design trends
• Ability to communicate software and algorithm design, complexity analysis, and performance metrics in written and oral reports
• Ability to quickly grasp and come up‑to‑speed with large software code bases

• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining web applications with REACT
• Experience with Git based revision control systems, and agile development practices
  
  REST API design
• 25+ years' experience with programming languages including Python and C or C++
• Experience with developing GPU code using CUDA libraries
• Familiarity with additional high-level languages (Shell Scripting, etc.)

This position is located at our Tucson, AZ Headquarters.

The likely salary range for this position is $262,000 to $321,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
