Software Engineer

Job Description

This role supports the development, testing, and production of advanced defense systems by building and maintaining Windows-based software applications used in factory and lab environments. You’ll work closely with hardware, systems, and manufacturing engineers to ensure test equipment software is reliable, scalable, and production-ready.

This is a hands‑on, onsite engineering role focused on real‑world hardware and mission‑critical systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• 2+ years of relevant software engineering experience
• Hands‑on experience developing software using one or more of the following: C+C#, Java, Python, or Visual Basic, Microsoft Visual Studio, Windows Operating System
• Debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues
• Ability to work onsite in a secure, production‑focused environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
• Understanding of computer architecture and hardware performance optimization
• Experience developing software drivers for hardware interfaces
• Knowledge of network and data protocols (TCP/IP, UDP)
• Familiarity with UML for software design and architecture
• Experience working in Agile or Waterfall development environments
• Knowledge of Software Configuration Management principles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
