Job Overview
We are seeking an on‑site Software Engineer located in Tucson, AZ, with U.S. citizenship and an active or transferable DoD Secret clearance. The role is a full‑time, entry‑level position, requiring up to 12 months of relevant professional (non‑internship) experience.
What You Will Do- Assist and participate in the requirements, design, development, and testing of real‑time embedded software, application software, and tools.
- Develop new work products or enhance existing applications and systems.
- Write, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
- Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineering professionals.
- Work on defined scope, schedule, and expectations.
- Follow established development practices and processes, maintain configuration management of software products.
Use state‑of‑the‑art tools, stay updated with the latest software development and missile technology advancements, and gain experience in real‑time systems design, digital signal processing, machine learning, autonomous systems, cyber security, and Dev Ops.
Qualifications- Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Experience with C, C++ or other object‑oriented languages.
- Experience with hardware‑software integration and embedded system testing.
- 12 months or fewer of relevant professional work experience.
Preferred qualifications:
- Prior internship experience.
- Experience with Real‑Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
- Knowledge of object‑oriented design and Unified Modeling Language.
- Experience writing low‑level code for microcontrollers, Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- ABET accreditation (preferred); 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team environments.
Competitive salary (USD
