We’re looking for Sr. Systems Engineer – Signal and Sensor Modeling Engineers who enjoy solving complex problems, engaging in a dynamic team environment, and are eager to learn.
What You Will Do- Champion novel solutions for advanced modeling techniques.
- Develop new C++ models in an extensible and maintainable fashion.
- Deploy EO or RF phenomenology and advanced physics principles in a software implementation.
- Enable our customers’ success through adoption and utilization of modeling solutions.
- Work efficiently inside an established software product, across programming languages, and build environments.
- Research and develop novel EO or RF modeling solutions.
- Coordinate with multiple development teams to prioritize and solve complex software and physics problems.
- Mentor and share EO or RF expertise with your team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience applying object‑oriented software design in C++, C, and using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data sets.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux or Apple OS or Windows DOS command line.
- Experience in electro‑optics or in radar processing, Imaging EO/IR/RF systems, energy transport, radar physics, signal processing and/or discrimination algorithms.
- Ability to obtain an Interim Secret U.S. government‑issued Security Clearance prior to start date with the ability to obtain special program access after start. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related STEM degree.
- Experience with OpenGL, CUDA, or other GPU accelerated languages/architectures and Scene Generation/Sensor Modeling technologies.
- Experience with electronic warfare modeling, developing signal processing algorithms for missile applications, signal & image processing, digital communications, or estimation theory, or AI/ML and training techniques.
- Experience with Real‑time Programming, software change management tools and processes, using and augmenting Build Systems (Make/CMake), and working with large production software environment.
- Experience interfacing with adjacent engineering disciplines (Signal Processing, Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering).
- Salary range for this role is $86,800 USD – $165,200 USD.
