Job Overview

Onsite Principal Software Systems Quality Engineer (Compliance) to support Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) in Tucson, AZ. LADS programs include Global Patriot, Ghost‑Eye / Lower Tier Air & Missile Defense, National Advanced Surface‑to‑Air Missile, Stinger, Next Generation Short‑Range Interceptor, TOW, Javelin, Excalibur, and counter unmanned aerial systems.

• Daily activities at 1151 East Hermans Road; collaboration also at 9030 S. Rita Road and 3350
  
  E. Hemisphere Loop.
• Review of Document Deliverables (CDRL), Command Media (Policies), SW Release Packages (Windchill PDM, Azure Dev Ops), SW Requirements Changes, SW/System Defects, SW Pulls (Code Reviews), Media, and Test Artifacts.
• Participate in Peer Reviews (SW, SE), Control Boards (CCB, SRB), Tracking Books (Metrics), Test Witnessing (SQT, FQT), and Audits.
• Ensure compliance of digital products with contractual requirements; review and approve inputs/outputs to/from partner organizations.
• Maintain integrity of technical data packages; identify, collect, and measure software quality attributes, metrics, and data.
• Perform independent evaluations and risk assessments across the lifecycle; facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Apply modern software development and quality best practices; adopt Agile and Dev Sec Ops  methodologies.
• Interact with customers, product development, and test personnel; provide guidance to senior leadership, team members, and peers.

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued Security Clearance (DoD Secret).
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of Quality or Engineering experience.
• Experience applying principles in Agile (SCRUM, CI/CD), Testing (execution witnessing, plans, procedures, requirement traceability), Requirements (verification, specifications, contracts), Software (lifecycle processes, code reviews, configuration management), Defects (quantification, severity, resolution), Release (delivery management, checklists, versions, repositories, release notes), Metrics (dashboards, reports), and Analysis (root cause, corrective actions).

• Certifications in Quality, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Agile, Cyber/IA, Project Management.
• Experience with Dev Sec Ops  tool chains (Confluence, Azure Dev Ops Server, Jenkins, Git Hub, Coverity).
• Proficiency in IDE applications, modeling, and databases (Clear Case, DOORS, RQM, Cameo, Rhapsody, Oracle, SAP).
• Knowledge of networking, configuration, protocols (OSI, TCP, IP, IPsec, TLS, DHCP, SNMP, FC, SCSI, DNS, IDS, SIEM).
• Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives, managing projects, and coordinating deliverables.
• Advanced STEM degree (optional).

• Salary range: 107,500 – 204,500 USD, based on experience.
