An active and transferable U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance is required.

The Software Engineer will design, develop, and integrate object-oriented software applications while working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team. This position requires experience with Java, Python, and Windows-based development environments, along with the ability to troubleshoot software and hardware interfaces and support the full software development lifecycle.

• Design, develop, and integrate object-oriented software applications using Java and Python.
• Prioritize and manage multiple software engineering tasks concurrently.
• Troubleshoot software applications and test equipment instrumentation.
• Work within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Develop and derive software requirements.
• Utilize Microsoft Visual Studio and debugging tools to develop and troubleshoot software.
• Support software development throughout the full software development lifecycle.

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Active and transferable U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience developing software using Java and Python.
• Experience with C++, C#, or Visual Basic is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating System and Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Knowledge of computer architecture and hardware optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of software drivers and computer hardware interfaces.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and UDP communication protocols.
  
  Knowledge of Unified Modeling Language (UML).
• Understanding of Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of Software Configuration Management principles.
