Modeling Simulation & Analysis Engineer - Onsite

Job Summary

Raytheon engineers develop the next generation of defense technologies that support our military and protect our nation and allies. Our software products empower innovative weapons systems and advanced AI/ML solutions. This onsite role is located in Tucson, AZ.

• Execute and analyze simulations in a high‑performance computing environment, including GPU usage, to support missile system design, trade studies, performance assessment, and system test.
• Collaborate with a team to develop data analysis for specific tasks and provide insights into system performance, recognizing and troubleshooting any anomalies observed in simulation results.
• Ensure solutions meet defined requirements and function as needed through rigorous verification and validation.
• Utilize data from multiple sources, including system‑level flight testing.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
• 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
• Experience applying object‑oriented software design in C++ or C, and using MATLAB or Python for data evaluation.
• Experience developing or simulating physical systems.
• Experience in modeling, simulation, statistics, or analysis for engineering solutions.
• Active, transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Preferred: 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.
• Proficiency in Linux or Unix, and coursework in object‑oriented programming.
• Knowledge of radar, signal & image processing, digital communications, control theory, estimation theory, or electro optics.
• Understanding of physics, random variables, and their application to solving engineering problems.
• Current or active DoD security clearance or SSBI.

• Salary range: $57,200 – $108,800 USD.
