Senior Workday Integration Developer – Extend

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration solutions between Workday and external systems
• Write code, develop software components, and implement complex functionalities
• Use Workday Studio to develop complex integrations
• Leverage Workday Cloud Connect and other pre-built connectors to integrate Workday with third-party applications
• Customize integrations to meet business requirements
• Build integration workflows that trigger business processes in Workday
• Oversee the deployment of integration solutions into production environments
• Assist with data migration efforts
• Ensure that integrations are updated to remain compatible with Workday’s quarterly releases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to make high-level architectural decisions
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Manage external integrations with third-party vendors

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience building Workday Integrations with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, and other relevant tools
• 5+ years’ experience partnering with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, managing multiple projects simultaneously and demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills
• 5+ years’ experience resolving complex technical issues related to Workday integrations using strong analytical skills
• 5+ years’ experience with Workday SOAP API, REST API, JSON, and Import API pattern
• 1+ year experience working on Workday Extend and Orchestration
• 1+ year demonstrated proficiency in Workday reporting, calculated fields and Studio
• 1+ year experience with Workday security, Core HCM business processes, and alerts
• Bachelor's degree required
