Engineering Manager
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team that is responsible for supporting and rebuilding a highly complex, business-critical examination platform used by medical professionals nationwide. This is an opportunity for a technically strong engineering leader who has evolved from software development into management while maintaining a passion for architecture, technology strategy, product collaboration, and engineering excellence.
You will oversee the redesign and modernization of our most complex application, a web-based examination platform that supports high-stakes professional certification exams. This is a direct hire position, hybrid in Tucson, AZ.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, application architecture and scalable web platforms
- Proven experience leading software engineering teams
Desired Skills & Experience
- Hands on experience with Type Script, Nodejs, Kubernetes
- Background working with real-time applications utilizing Web Sockets or messaging platforms
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
