Position Highlights

The University of Arizona is seeking an Assistant Coach, Women’s Gymnastics, reporting directly to the Head Coach of Women’s Gymnastics. This position assists in all facets of a Division I Women’s Gymnastics program and acts within the rules and regulations of the University, Conference, and NCAA.
This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel for competition and recruiting. Duties & Responsibilities
- Serves as coach on all 4 events.
- Identify, monitor results, contact recruiting prospects. Coordinate on/off campus visits, evaluations, and contacts.
- Assist Head Coach with daily office management of program.
- Demonstrate and apply knowledge of all applicable NCAA rules and regulations while fulfilling prescribed duties.
- Assist in donor relations, alumni relations, fundraising, and community outreach.
- Assist with team travel.
- Budget accountability.
- Additional duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of position related NCAA, Big-12, and University of Arizona rules and compliance.

- Demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to plan, establish priorities, and successfully manage multiple priority projects.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience.
- Level 10 / College experience.
- Ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.
