• Route:
  Local Home Daily
• Tractor type:
  Stake Truck
• Trailer type: 26' Stake truck
• Equipment:
  Forklift
• Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight:
  Touch – Electrical supplies

• Medical, dental & vision after 30 days

• This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards.
• Maintaining accurate records. Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Other tasks as assigned.

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Must have verifiable driving experience must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck
• 6 months experience in the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
