Overview
PHI Health is a national air ambulance provider that delivers critical care to patients across the country. The pilot role offers opportunities to work life‑saving missions on a 24‑hour day/night rotation.
Responsibilities- Perform line pilot duties in accordance with GOM.
- Support Safety Management System and Destination Zero safety campaigns.
- Assist with loading and unloading of patients and equipment.
- Provide safe, efficient, courteous and reliable service to internal and external customers.
- Participate in community outreach programs and adhere to PHI Air Medical policies.
- Maintain a 7x7 schedule; day of week base schedules may shift and schedule changes may be required.
- Travel to an assigned PHI base in Arizona or California and remain on site for a minimum of one year per CBA Pool pilot position.
- Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings.
- First Class Medical.
- Meet CAMTS requirements: 2,000 total flight hours; 1,500 helicopter flight hours; 1,000 PIC helicopter hours; 500 turbine helicopter hours; 100 hours unaided night operations or 50 unaided + 100 NVG hours.
- Body weight 235 pounds or less.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Must pass pre‑placement physical exam, functional capacity test including lift 100 pounds, drug screening and background check.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel to Arizona or California.
