Delivery Helper

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Delivery team and start a rewarding career in the appliance industry. If you are new to the appliance industry, you will begin as a Helper to assist with the delivery, handling, and placement of household appliances while learning proper procedures, safety standards, and customer service skills. This position is designed as a training pathway, where employees gain hands-on experience and advance to Delivery Driver and ultimately Appliance Installer roles.

Candidates should be dependable, physically capable, and eager to learn and grow within the company.

• Leads an efficient delivery route for the day within the City of Tucson, with assistance from a daily Helper.
• Loads delivery vehicle with products scheduled for delivery and unloads vehicle after completing delivery runs.
• Delivers and sets up basic appliances to correct addresses.
• Ensures that photographs are taken including customer’s homes, product information labels, and appliances, before and after installation.
• Obtains required signatures, payments, proof of delivery, and gives a receipt to customer.
• Picks up products along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested. Returns all required documentation to appropriate company official.
• Interacts with customers in a professional manner, providing excellent customer service during the delivery process.
• Completes all delivery paperwork after returning to the warehouse, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made, including and not limited to following and observing all traffic laws and speed limits.
• Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.
• Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to two years related experience or equivalent and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. No CDL required.
• Must be able to pass a Drug Test and Background screening.
• Preferred 2 years appliance delivery and installation experience.
• Familiarity with delivery practices and handling methods.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Forklift - trained and certified by OSHA and company standards (must attend this mandatory company training).
• Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and sit regularly, in addition to being able to utilize hand dexterity, climb, bend, balance, stoop, kneel, and crawl regularly as the job requires.
• Must be able to work under extreme weather conditions (heat and cold) frequently based on what is expected to complete the job.
• Must be able to hear, see, communicate, and utilize the necessary equipment required to complete the job in a timely manner.
