Role Description Dump Truck Drivers at Desert Trucking operate company trucks to haul construction materials to and from job sites in and around Tucson, AZ. This full-time, on-site role involves safely driving dump trucks, loading and unloading materials, and following designated routes and schedules. Drivers perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, monitor vehicle condition, and report maintenance needs to keep equipment in safe working order.

Daily tasks include communicating with dispatch and site supervisors, following site safety procedures, and completing required delivery documentation. The role requires consistent adherence to traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations while providing professional service to customers.
Qualifications

• Commercial driving skills, including CDL Class A and experience with Truck Driving.
• Ability to safely operate dump trucks and related Truck equipment, including basic maneuvering in construction environments.
• Knowledge of DOT Regulations and commitment to compliance with safety and transportation rules.
• Experience with Unloading construction materials and following safe loading/unloading procedures.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass required background checks and drug screenings.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform moderate physical tasks.
• Strong reliability, punctuality, and communication skills with dispatch and job site personnel.
• Previous experience in construction hauling or similar trucking roles is preferred.
