POSITION SUMMARY

 The Shipping and Receiving Associate supports the daily movement, processing,
 and documentation of computer equipment and other technology assets within a
 high-volume IT logistics warehouse.

The primary responsibility of this position is to receive returned equipment,
 open and inspect incoming packages, identify and categorize assets, and
 accurately record each item in the company’s inventory management system. The
 Shipping and Receiving Associate will also assist with palletizing, material
 movement, production-line routing, and outbound shipping activities as
 operational needs require.

 This position operates within a structured production environment where speed,
 accuracy, attendance, and adherence to established procedures are essential.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Receive deliveries from Fed Ex, UPS, freight carriers, couriers, and other
    transportation providers.
  
* Verify incoming package and pallet counts against available shipping
    documentation.
  
* Unload, move, stage, and palletize incoming return boxes and equipment.
  
* Open incoming packages and safely remove computer equipment, monitors,
    peripherals, cables, and accessories.
  
* Identify and categorize returned assets by equipment type, condition, client,
    and required processing path.
  
* Scan or manually enter serial numbers, asset tags, shipment information, and
    other required data into the ITF inventory management system.
  
* Confirm that recorded asset information matches the physical equipment
    received.
  
* Identify missing, damaged, incorrect, or unrecognized equipment and escalate
    discrepancies to the Receiving Lead.
  
* Separate equipment requiring testing, cleaning, repair, e-waste processing,
    or additional review.
  
* Route received equipment to the appropriate production-line station.
  
* Maintain organized work areas, pallets, carts, staging locations, and
    receiving lanes.
  
* Break down and dispose of packaging materials according to warehouse
    procedures.
  
* Assist with inventory counts, audits, and equipment reconciliation as
    assigned.
  
* Support outbound shipping operations during high-volume periods, including
    staging, labeling, loading, and package preparation.
  
* Follow all safety, equipment-handling, data-security, and inventory-control
    procedures.
  
* Meet established productivity, accuracy, quality, and attendance
    expectations.
  
* Perform other warehouse and logistics duties as assigned.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

 Successful employees in this position are expected to:

* Process equipment accurately and efficiently in a high-volume environment.
  
* Maintain a high level of data-entry and inventory accuracy.
  
* Consistently follow documented receiving and asset-handling procedures.
  
* Keep received equipment properly organized and routed throughout the
    production line.
  
* Communicate discrepancies, damaged equipment, and workflow concerns promptly.
  
* Maintain dependable attendance and arrive ready to work at the scheduled
    start time.
  
* Work productively throughout the shift while limiting unnecessary
    interruptions.
  
* Follow the production-floor phone policy and use personal phones only during
    approved breaks or emergencies.
  
* Specific throughput expectations may vary based on package composition,
    equipment type, workload, and operational demand.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  
* Previous warehouse, receiving, shipping, inventory, production-line, or
    material-handling experience preferred.
  
* Basic computer and data-entry skills.
  
* Ability to read serial numbers, asset tags, shipping labels, and equipment
    identifiers accurately.
  
* Ability to follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
  
* Strong attention to detail.
  
* Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  
* Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
