- Description:

The Warehouse Worker II is responsible for all the steps involved in getting products from suppliers to customers. Activities include inventory planning and control, wastage, movement, storage, freight forwarding, maritime operations, etc. Includes GPO operations. Develops and implements the logistics strategy. Identifies methods and processes to increase productivity and efficiency in the distribution center.

• Responsible for the delivery of routine operative tasks with clearly defined instructions
• May encounter non-routine problems, but most often resolves common / routine issues using established practices
• Applies literacy, numeracy skills and customer service skills
• Can generally learn job duties in days / weeks of on-the-job training
• Impact of working conditions (physical effort, environment, sensory effort) is limited
