As Technical Accounting Manager, you will serve as a trusted technical accounting resource supporting a diverse portfolio of businesses and complex organizational structures. You’ll partner closely with finance, property management, operations, leadership, and external auditors to ensure accurate, compliant financial reporting that supports continued growth.

• Research, analyze, and provide technical accounting guidance for complex transactions, including acquisitions, debt restructurings, and equity financing activities.
• Serve as the process owner for key accounting functions while identifying opportunities to strengthen efficiency and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, company accounting policies, and internal controls.
• Prepare and review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Analyze financial results, investigate significant variances, and communicate findings to business partners.
• Prepare monthly internal financial statements and lead assigned portions of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
• Support the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, including footnote disclosures and year‑end audit activities.
• Prepare financial reporting packages for third‑party lenders and business partners.
• Partner with Property Management, Finance, and Operations on annual budgeting, tenant reconciliations, and special projects.
• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting systems, internal controls, and business processes.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement while supporting Sabey’s adoption of AI and emerging technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a closely related field.
• Five or more years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Advanced knowledge of full‑cycle accounting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project‑management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Detail‑oriented with exceptional accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
• Self‑directed with the ability to work independently.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
• Interest in leveraging AI tools and technology to improve accounting processes.

• CPA and/or CMA certification.
• Experience with Yardi or comparable accounting software.
• Experience supporting complex organizational structures or multi‑entity environments.

Anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $95,335 – $143,003.
