AUTO PAINTER Position:
Auto Painter

Location:

Tukwila, WA Pay: $25–$35/hr DOE

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PMWHO WE ARE

Opti Staffing Group is hiring an experienced Auto Painter for a locally owned and family-operated business in Tukwila. Founded in 1982, the company has grown from a small fleet repair shop into a trusted full-service repair facility specializing in diesel truck and trailer repairs. Their facility includes a 60-foot paint booth capable of handling a wide variety of fleet vehicles and equipment.

They take pride in quality workmanship, keeping equipment running smoothly, and providing excellent customer service.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Prepare box trucks, fleet vehicles, and other equipment for painting
  • Sand, mask, prime, and otherwise prepare vehicle surfaces for paint
  • Mix and apply automotive paint using spray equipment
  • Match colors and maintain consistent, high-quality finishes
  • Restore and enhance the appearance of fleet vehicles
  • Follow job specifications and customer requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all applicable safety procedures and guidelines
  • Complete work efficiently while maintaining quality standards
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU

  • Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

WHAT YOU

NEED TO HAVE
  • At least 2 years of automotive or fleet painting experience
  • Experience with sanding, masking, priming, and paint preparation
  • Experience mixing and applying paint with spray equipment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a production environment
THE MUSTS
  • 2+ years of painting experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable personal transportation
  • Experience with spray painting and surface preparation
PREFERRED
  • Fleet, truck, trailer, or heavy-duty vehicle painting experience
  • Experience with color matching
  • Experience working in a large paint booth
  • Automotive body repair or refinishing experience
