About the Role & Schedule Expectations
Position Location:
Tukwila Financial Center (TFC). Training
Location:
Tukwila Financial Center. One-Year Commitment:
All Retail new hires are expected to remain in this role and schedule for a minimum of one year before pursuing other opportunities within BECU.
Schedule Flexibility
Required:
Tellers work varying shifts during our operating hours based on business needs and may work any scheduled shift, including up to three Saturdays per month.
Training
Schedule:
First 5 weeks, Monday–Friday Paid training between approximately 9:00 AM–6:00 PM. Post-Training
Schedule:
Monday–Friday shifts between 7:45 AM–6:30 PM;
Up to 3 rotational Saturdays per month 8:45 AM–1:30 PM.

Target Pay Range: $21.65 - $22.00 per hour. Offers are made within this range, taking into account experience, skills, and alignment with internal team compensation. Starting pay typically does not exceed the range midpoint.
Full Pay Range: $21.65 - $28.65 hourly. Incentives are performance based and available to the hired applicant.

- Minimum:
High School Diploma or GED; 1 year customer service or relevant experience. - Desired:
Teller or cash handling experience;
Spanish language fluency highly desirable. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
- Experience in promoting and selling financial products or services.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to financial transactions.
- Successful completion of in-house teller training program.
- Proficient math skills, ability to process account transactions accurately.
- Ability to multitask.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills to ensure professional handling of member concerns.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member, using discretion and sound judgment.
- Additional hours as necessary.
