PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $80,200.00-$97,800.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $62,400.00 - $ annually. Compensation decisions are based on job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE

As a Financial Educator, you’ll play a key role in advancing financial well-being at BECU by delivering meaningful, engaging financial education to members, employees, and communities. You’ll bring financial concepts to life across in-person, virtual, and digital experiences, including webinars, seminars, and innovative experiential learning programs. Your work will go beyond teaching. You will help shape how financial education is delivered by continuously improving programs to better drive engagement and real-world behavior change.

You’ll collaborate with internal partners and community partners to expand reach and impact while contributing fresh ideas to evolve how we support financial health. This role offers a blend of flexibility and time in the field: you’ll travel to locations across the BECU footprint, averaging about two days per week, with occasional weeks of up to four days, and when not traveling, you’ll work remotely.

WHAT

YOU’LL DO
  • Deliver engaging seminars, workshops, webinars, and experiential learning events in person and virtually to help individuals build financial knowledge and confidence.
  • Innovate learning experiences by exploring new formats, tools, and experiential approaches that increase engagement, adoption, and financial health outcomes.
  • Build community partnerships by developing and maintaining relationships with community organizations, schools, and internal stakeholders to expand access to financial education.
  • Develop impactful content by researching, designing, and creating educational materials tailored to diverse audiences, translating complex financial topics into accessible insights.
  • Promote financial health solutions by integrating BECU products and services into education delivery in a way that supports members’ financial well-being.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business lines such as Business Services, Mortgage, and Retail Branches to align education with broader strategic and business goals.
  • Analyze and report outcomes by tracking and reporting on program effectiveness and using insights to continuously improve delivery and impact.
  • Stay ahead of trends by keeping current on financial education topics, learning methodologies, behavioral science principles, and regulatory changes.
  • Expand delivery channels by exploring and recommending new technologies and platforms to optimize education across digital, social, and in-person channels.
