Power Generation Technician

NC Power System carries the complete line of Caterpillar engine and power systems products covering a vast territory that includes central and western Washington. We are the Pacific Northwest’s Caterpillar Dealer in delivering prime and standby electric power, marine, oil and gas, and industrial/OEM installations.

NC Power Systems are seeking a Power Generation Technician at our Tukwila, WA Branch. This is a key role in which our technicians diagnose and perform all repairs and installations on EPG and industrial engines, including OEM and EPG preps in the shop.

• Diagnose, repair, and install industrial engines (including OEM and EPG)
• Troubleshoot and inspect power generators to make necessary repairs
• Perform tear‑downs and cleanings
• Order parts using the Caterpillar parts ordering system (SIS)
• Communicate with engineering, end‑users, customers, and other team members
• Meet administrative requirements to complete paperwork, including service reports

• Degree in Diesel Technology preferred
• 2+ years of generator experience or CAT industrial engine experience
• Must possess own tools
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license

• Hourly wage from $26.90 to $56.85 per hour
