Electrical Engineer; PE

Lamoreaux Associates (LA) is a leading transportation and technology consulting firm with offices in Cedar City, Utah, San Jose, California, and Seattle, Washington. We provide planning, design, program/project management and construction management services. We are seeking Electrical Engineers, Controls Engineers, Civil Engineers, Computer and Information Technology Specialists. The positions are in Bellevue, Washington.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Civil Engineering (ITS emphasis) or a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams/Zoom meetings, Autocad, PDF markup. (Bluebeam, Adobe).
• 4 years minimum experience.
• Washington state Professional Engineering License desirable.

• Develops project designs for commercial/industrial buildings, passenger rail stations, technology, and other projects including:
  • Monitoring & control systems.
  • Automation systems.
  • Building management systems.
  • SCADA systems.
  • Communications, telecommunications.
  • Public adddress systems.
  • Dynamic message/advertising signs.
  • Power distribution.
  • Renewable power: solar power, wind energy systems.
  • Uninterruptible power supplies, emergency backup generators.
  • Water system monitoring/control.
  • Lighting, lighting control.
  • Fiber optic networks.
  • Wireless networks, distributed antenna systems.
  • Security systems, CCTV, sensors.
• Implements designs utilizing industry codes, standards, and guidelines, IEEE, NEC, NFPA etc.
• Prepares and seals project plans/drawings, specifications and estimates, in coordination with supporting staff engineers and CAD Designers.
• Interfaces with clients and project stakeholders.
• Provides design support during construction and testing, including review of contractor submittals and support of design reviews, client and contractor meetings.
• Provides construction observation/construction management.
