Job Description

Seeking an experienced Equipment Manager to support supplier management and FAA certification activities for a rapid prototype aerospace program. This role will oversee supplier schedules, technical drawing reviews, qualification testing, conformity activities, and supplier test execution.

Experience with mission computing systems is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage technical supplier activities and schedules
• Review and approve technical drawings and qualification deliverables
• Support FAA certification and conformity efforts
• Oversee qualification test planning and execution with suppliers
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, and program teams
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve technical issues
• Support rapid prototype development activities

Required Skills

• Supplier management experience
• FAA certification and qualification testing knowledge
• Strong technical documentation review skills
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced engineering environments

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mission computing systems
• Aerospace or defense industry experience

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical field
• 10-15 years of related experience
• 5+ years of qualification testing experience
• U.S. Person required for export compliance

Education / Experience

Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of experience, Master's with 12+ years, or PhD with 9+ years of related experience in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
