Position Overview
Boeing is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Technician and Inspector for our KC‑46 Tanker in Tukwila, WA. The role requires an active Secret or higher U.S. security clearance and 100% onsite presence. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, inspecting, testing, repairing and servicing aircraft and engine systems for flight readiness.

Tukwila, WA | Shift: 2nd Shift (subject to change).
- Conduct preventive maintenance and perform alterations on production aircraft during and after flight‑test activities.
- Inspect and test aircraft and engine systems; prepare aircraft for flight.
- Perform quality functions such as customer and DCMA coordination, configuration‑change verification, conformity inspections, airworthiness inspections (pre‑flight and post‑flight), corrective action and investigations.
- Initiate and document nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts, assemblies or portions according to specifications, processes and procedures.
- Audit and surveil all manufacturing and quality assurance processes per specifications, procedures and processes.
- Utilize fall protection equipment and weight‑limit equipment when working at heights.
- Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience with military, airline or certificated repair‑station background.
- Active Secret U.S. security clearance (or higher) that has been active in the past 24 months.
- Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
- Experience or education in flight controls, avionics electronics/systems, and analysis.
- Prior military experience and familiarity with military customers.
- Hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinist (IAM‑751) Collective Bargaining agreement.
- Pay range: $35.32 per hour – $62.45 per hour.

Position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required). The clearance must be active within the past 24 months.
