Technical Integration Engineer – The Boeing Company

Location:

Tukwila, WA (100% onsite, 1st shift). The role supports the P‑8 Poseidon Program in the Chief Engineer’s Office, providing engineering leadership to a multidisciplinary team and collaborating with program chief engineer, engineering capabilities, program managers, contracts, estimating, supply chain, and customers to execute program objectives.

• Resolve technical issues through coordination with engineering and the Chief Engineer.
• Manage deliverables by defining plans for risk mitigation, issues, and opportunities; monitor baseline plans to assess project performance, productivity, and lessons learned.
• Brief customers and leadership on program status, technical risks, challenges, and support needs.
• Develop statements of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing, and new business requirements.
• Identify and manage changes to SOW, assess impacts, and incorporate changes accordingly.
• Provide technical, business, and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans.
• Lead and participate in technical reviews, providing feedback to meet customer SOW.
• Apply critical thinking, problem solving, change management, project management, influencing without authority, and consultation skills.
• Proactively communicate with leadership teams, peers, and customers.
• Review and approve technical exports, assist in developing export plans, and ensure program compliance with U.S. export laws and policies.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
• Level4: 9+ years of related experience.
• Level5: 14+ years of related experience.

• 7+ years of experience in the aerospace industry.
• 5+ years of experience working on aircraft modification programs or new airplane programs.
• Experience providing customer support to address concerns.
• Ability to quickly learn technical engineering designs and concepts.
• Experience leading or managing projects and/or teams.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, including concise writing and verbal communication in one‑on‑one, small group, and large audience settings.
• Experience with the P‑8A aircraft.
• Experience presenting technical content to Boeing and customer leadership.
• Strong project management skills.

• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; an interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance is required post‑start.
• Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements; a “U.S. Person” (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) is required.
• No relocation assistance is provided.
• Shift: 1st shift (United States of America).

Pay is based on candidate experience and qualifications and includes competitive base pay with variable compensation opportunities. The total rewards package includes health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, and paid and unpaid time off. Pay ranges:

• Level4: $146,200–$197,800
• Level5: $176,800–$239,200
