Position Overview

BCA Non‑Destructive Evaluation & Measurement Sr Manager – The Boeing Company, Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA). This Senior Manager will lead the NDE/M team across Tukwila, WA and North Charleston, SC, traveling approximately 20% of the time. The role focuses on driving innovation and delivering advanced materials and technology solutions throughout the product lifecycle.

• Collaborate with BCA Program M&P Teams, Quality, Quality Engineering, MATES, and Production Engineering 3DM on top priorities, RIO management, and technology insertions.
• Ensure the NDE/M M&P team meets commitments on technology development, manufacturing technology reviews, liaison support, qualifications, and supply chain activities.
• Lead the NDE/M M&P people development strategy and be responsible for leading first‑level managers.
• Manage and execute to budget, staffing, and metrics that evaluate the health of the business.
• Inspire and empower the team through collaboration, communication, and caring.
• Build and nurture a welcoming culture by seeking diverse perspectives, speaking up, and actively listening to teammates and stakeholders.

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• 1+ year of experience in Materials & Processing Engineering.
• Experience working in BCA production systems.

• Experience in Non‑Destructive Evaluation & Measurement technologies.
• Experience with team building, development, and motivating employees.
• Strong communication skills and experience working directly with executives or senior leaders.
• Ability to adapt to a changing statement of work.
• Applicable and appropriate educational or certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience.

• Summary pay range for Sr Manager (level L): $176,800 – $239,200.
