RCS Special Technology Engineering Manager; Level K

RCS Special Technology Engineering Manager (Level K) – The Boeing Company, located in Tukwila, WA.

This role leads a team of RCS engineers within Boeing Defense, Space & Security, providing technical and managerial oversight for RCS design, analysis, testing, and system development on low-observable platforms.

• Manage and develop a team of RCS and RF engineers, overseeing technical activities and project execution.
• Develop and execute engineering and process plans that meet program customer requirements.
• Lead technical projects, providing approval of technical approaches, product specifications, and processes.
• Acquire and allocate resources for projects, including staffing and supplier engagement.
• Foster relationships with customers, stakeholders, partners, and direct reports.
• Act as a First-Line Leader, coaching and mentoring team members and driving professional growth.
• Implement and monitor policies, procedures, and operational goals across the team.

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
• 9+ years of work‑related experience (or 7+ with a Master’s degree, 4+ with a Ph.D.).
• At least one year in a leadership or managerial role, or completion of Boeing’s “Exploring Leadership” course.
• Experience with RF systems or coursework in RF theory.

• Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
• Active U.S. Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
• Prior experience leading a team of RCS engineers, including hiring and resource allocation.
• Experience in engineering and technical development of RCS technologies and RF advanced mission systems.
• Project management experience with cross‑functional teams.
• Hands‑on experience in integration, lab testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in RCS material and system design, testing, modeling, and simulation.

Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain a U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance after start.
