Position: MP&P Technical Analyst 3 - NDE/Measurement

MP&P Technical Analyst 3 - NDE/Measurement

Location: Tukwila, WA

Pay Rate: $50/hour

Qualifying Questions

Responsibilities
  • Author Non-Destructive Test (NDT) procedures.
  • Incorporate revisions authored by the method Responsible Level III into the standard procedure review process.
  • Develop Computer-Aided Drawings (CAD) of specialized calibration standards.
  • Set up non-destructive test or measurement equipment to calibration standards.
  • Create procedure figures detailing inspection location, geometry, accessibility, probe/transducer placement, and notch signal response.
  • Report potential adverse trends or anomalous inspection results.
Requirements
  • Associate (AA) degree in a related discipline and typically 3+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1+ years of education or experience in Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) or Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends as needed.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 800 hours of Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
  • 300 hours of Ultrasonic Shear-Wave Testing
    .
  • 800 hours of Eddy Current Testing (ET).
  • Experience with CAD software.
  • Experience writing UT and ET techniques and inspection procedures.
Eligibility Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) to comply with ITAR regulations
