Associate Electrical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer

As a member of the E‑7 Electrical Power System Engineering team, you will develop electrical power design for the aircraft’s primary and secondary power systems, support suppliers, and collaborate with the program wiring team. The role supports lab testing, aircraft build, flight testing, and operational support for the E‑7 Advanced Airborne Early Warning and Control platform.

• Document electronic and electrical system requirements for EPGS and SPDS components and software
• Analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware designs, and interface specifications
• Validate system designs meet operational and functional requirements through testing
• Work with suppliers to ensure integration and compliance with requirements during development and production
• Provide support for fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle
• Troubleshoot E‑7 EPGS and SPDS and contribute to Specification Control Drawings (SCDs), Interface Design Descriptions (IDDs), and Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
• Create certification documentation to demonstrate compliance with FAA airworthiness requirements, including Electrical Load Analysis (ELA) documents
• Design functional schematics of the power system
• Report progress and elevate issues to management as required
• Support FAA certification activities as needed

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering
• Experience with ELA, ICDs, and SCDs
• Experience with functional schematic drafting and design

• Experience with aircraft electrical systems design
• Experience with aircraft power systems and troubleshooting aircraft electrical systems
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office products
• Experience with FAA certification procedures for Part 25 regulations
