PositionThe Boeing Global Service (BGS) P‑8 Modification Integration Team (PMIT) is hiring for Associate or Mid‑Level System Engineers in Tukwila, Washington. PMIT is an engineering team dedicated to executing post‑production P‑8 modifications, including capability improvements, obsolescence impact mitigation, and other sustainment‑adjacent activities. The team’s expertise spans supply chain, engineering, lean projects, operations, and U.S. government contract development.
Primary Responsibilities- Integrate projects across internal Boeing stakeholders and suppliers to drive on‑time and at‑cost delivery of P‑8 modifications
- Engage with U.S. Navy and foreign military customers to support program‑level problem solving and address issues with P‑8 modifications
- Identify, document, and elevate risks, issues, and opportunities (RIO) and their mitigation plans using the Boeing Opportunity Risk and Issue System (BORIS)
- Assist with customer (external) and Boeing (internal) major program reviews and readiness meetings
- Perform project engineering tasks including cost, schedule, risk, and earned value management to drive affordability measures
- Evaluate and integrate engineering changes via the P‑8 change process to ensure cross‑functional collaboration, sound technical solutions, and on‑time engineering releases
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a non‑U.S. equivalent directly related to the work
- 3+ years of engineering experience
- 1+ year of experience working with military or commercial derivative aircraft
- Experience in a role requiring strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Experience developing and managing relationships with internal and external partners and suppliers
- Experience delivering technical presentations to executive teams
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally 25% of the time
- 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience
- Active U.S. Security Clearance
- 2+ years of experience integrating work across cross‑functional and interdivisional teams, including with external suppliers or government entities
- 2+ years of experience in a role requiring project and/or program management skills
- Experience leading and representing technical engineering projects
- Knowledge of the P‑8 aircraft
- Experience with export and global trade controls

Pay & BenefitsThe role offers competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. Pay ranges depend on experience, qualifications, and market considerations. Paid and unpaid time off is also available.
Summary pay range Level 2 (Associate): $98,600 – $133,400
Summary pay range Level 3 (Mid‑Level): $119,850 – $162,150
